Victoria Alvarez is one of the chairs for the Security Council. She is also part of the executive team as undersecretary of finance. She is currently a senior in her second year of the International Baccalaureate at the American School of Barcelona and has lived in Spain for 5 years. Before that, she was raised in a Mexican family in San Francisco, California for the first 12 years of her life and has greatly enjoyed the experiences the transition has brought her. She fell in love with MUN as a freshman after attending her first conferences at BCNMUN and THIMUN and realizing it gave her the opportunity to pursue her passions in politics and discussing current events. This along with her participation in ASB’s debate club led her to believe that she could best share her skills through chairing for a second year at BCMUN. She hopes that BCNMUN 2022 satisfies all delegates' expectations and that everyone can experience a great conference.

Advay Johary is one of the chairs for the Security Council. He has been living in Barcelona for the past six years now. Born in India he has traveled and experienced living in several countries such as Australia, and the UK. He is currently a Junior doing his forth year of MUN. He had started doing MUN in eighth grade and started out as a delegate in the General Assembly of BCNMUN 2019. After attending and participating in many virtual conferences, he has gained experience throughout the years of both virtual and in person conferences. Personally he has always been curious about politics and learning the world affairs that affect the lives of people around the world. MUN has given him a chance to learn how to communicate and investigate these engrossing topics. It's given him a great opportunity to interact with so many different people and provide him with essential skills and knowledge of value. Skills like public speaking and being comfortable to talk and communicate with new people are valuable skills that he has picked up. Advay looks forward to attending and chairing the debate of this committee.
